The UI Approach
Aura was designed with a dark mode interface so the colorful festival imagery could stand out. Because the photos already carry a lot of visual energy, the rest of the interface was kept simple and consistent using a minimal layout and a single teal accent color to avoid overwhelming the user.
The hierarchy is heavily driven by imagery rather than text. By prioritizing imagery over heavy text, Aura remains visually immersive without sacrificing the functionality of a clean, easy-to-scan interface.
